Trips and Visits

Experiences and Adventures

At Senior and Sixth Form level, students are working towards Higher Education and a life outside of school. Our programme of trips and visits ensures they develop their appreciation for, and understanding of, the wider world.

As a central London school, we are spoiled for opportunities to visit world-class exhibitions, events, concerts and performances. We also take advantage of the city’s economic status, working with local companies to promote a greater understanding of the world of work.

Enrichment Days here at Eaton Square provide an off-timetable chance for year groups to come together and hear from inspirational external speakers and performers or participate in activity workshops.

Outside of school, we have a termly schedule of Educational Day Trips. From workshops at the Bentley showroom to theatrical experiences and science lessons in Green Park, these trips expose children to the riches on our doorstep.

Every year group is also offered the chance to take part in an annual residential or overseas educational trip to destinations such as Normandy, Valencia, Paris, New York, Miami and Italy. Year 8 will visit the Lake District for a five-day residential with Outward Bound to work on leadership and teamwork skills. All students in Years 7-9 have the chance to go on a sports and cultural tour and we also co-ordinate a popular ski trip for all year groups.

Learning in London

From our central London locations, our students get to experience their education in the heart of one of the most vibrant, cosmopolitan cities in the world.

Home for Senior School pupils is 106 Piccadilly, an exquisite Grade I listed townhouse originally built for Sir Hugh Hunlock in 1761. Purchased by the St James’s Club in 1868, the building was frequented by many luminaries of the day, including Evelyn Waugh and Ian Fleming.

Today, 106 Piccadilly is a fully equipped, five-storey educational space, fusing traditional and state-of-the-art within its classrooms, science and computer labs, graphics studio and social spaces where students can gather and relax.

Sixth Form students will study in a Georgian townhouse situated in Belgravia, just minutes from Victoria Station, Green Park and Buckingham Palace.

Both Senior School and Sixth Form students are just moments away from many of London’s enviable green spaces and historic landmarks, and within easy reach of the capital’s rich and varied attractions, providing them with 360-degree access to an almost infinite menu of cultural, social and educational experiences.
