Aims and Values

Aims and Values

Vision:

Eaton Square Prep School pupils will be fully prepared to take their own place in an ever-changing world.

Mission:

To provide an exceptional all-round education.

Values:

  • Perseverance: We will persevere in the face of challenge. If things go wrong, we will try, try and try again. We have high expectations yet recognise that making mistakes is part of the learning process. All pupils, no matter what their level, are expected to be stretched and challenged so that they can grow, develop and flourish at their highest possible level.
  • Ownership: We will take ownership of our learning, our actions and our organisation. We will progressively move towards being self-sufficient as we grow through the School.
  • Integrity: We will strive to be good human beings. We will always try to understand the difference between right and wrong and will always try to do the right thing.
  • Service: We will try our hardest to serve one another and the wider community of the School, helping those less fortunate than ourselves through charitable work and, more globally, serve the planet well, learning about sustainability and how we can help future generations.
  • Empathy: We will always aim to help, understand and support others. We will lead by example and always treat others as we would like to be treated.

Aims:

We aim to:

  • Offer a well-balanced education, placing an emphasis on developing the whole child.
  • Foster a love of learning, ensuring children strive for academic, artistic and sporting excellence.
  • Encourage children to be happy, confident and respectful young people who make a positive contribution to the community.

Each week all pupils are invited to attend a whole school assembly at St. Michael’s Church, Chester Square. The assembly allows for the community to gather together, including parents and friends, to celebrate the children’s successes and to hear relevant notices.

This weekly gathering is held at St. Michael’s Church and the School has a loose Christian ethos, however families and children of all religious denominations are warmly welcomed.
