Charity

Every two years, Eaton Square Prep School elects a particular charity to support. We choose this based on a cause whose vision and values align closely to our own.

In September 2023, we started proudly supporting Pimlico Puffins, a swimming club for those who have a learning or physical disability who would like to learn to swim or exercise in the water. So far, we have already raised money from Mufti Day and a Halloween Costume Swap.

For the past two years, we supported Down’s South London – a local charity offering a unique, specialist early intervention therapy service for babies and young children with Down’s Syndrome and a local support network for their families. We were delighted to raise over £68,000 for Downs South London through regular events, workshops, auctions, bake sales and more.

Previously, we supported Chiltern Music Therapy and raised over £55,000– a fantastic campaign providing specialist music therapy provision to those experiencing Alzheimer’s, dementia, brain injury, mental health troubles or neonatal care.

Prior to this, we raised a grand total of over £200,000 for The Evelina Children’s Hospital. Highlights that contributed to this impressive amount included: teachers participating in the London Marathon; two Year 5 girls donating their hair to The Little Princess Trust; and a whole school auction.

Alongside our chosen charity, we participate in many nationwide fundraisers, such as Jenes for Genes Day and Anti-Bullying Week.
