Annual Prize Giving Ceremony
Yesterday all of our students and staff attended the Eaton Square Senior School Prize Giving Ceremony, held at the well-known Chelsea Old Town Hall, located on the famous King’s Road. It was marvellous to finally be together again in person after two years of online ceremonies.
The afternoon offered the opportunity to gather as a community to reflect upon the past year as we have gradually returned to normal operations following COVID-19. It has been wonderful to see the return of trips, both residential and day, in addition to weekly house assemblies and cross-year group events and competitions. There have been so many amazing highlights throughout the year that we shared with everyone as we collectively celebrated the progress and achievements of our students in all areas of school life.
Annually, September brings a sense of newness and excitement in schools and we very much look forward to the opening of our Sixth Form in Eccleston Square as the final phase of opening Eaton Square Schools to offer education from ages 11-18. Many of our Year 11 students joined as new Year 7’s in 2017, and it is great to see so many of them continuing as pioneers of our Sixth Form under the leadership of our Head of Sixth Form, Mr Nick Lee.
Yesterday we also took the opportunity to thank our whole staff community for their tireless work to provide our students with the support, encouragement and opportunities to thrive.
