Year 10 Trip to Dorset

Year 10 recently enjoyed a fantastic wilderness-based trip to the Dorset coast. It may have been early November, but all students embraced the great outdoors with great enthusiasm, perseverance and comradery.

Led by the professional outdoor instructors of Land and Wave – Dorset’s best adventure company – students packed in a huge variety of activities within 72 hours. On the water, they built rafts, kayaked, paddle boarded (and jumbo paddle boarded!). Back on land they participated in archery, axe throwing, fire starting and even some night hikes. 

The trip had an excellent impact on the students’ teamwork skills, resilience and sense of self-awareness. Scroll through the photos below to enjoy a snapshot of this adventure…
