19th February 2021

Year 6 pupils at Eaton Square Prep School have not let lockdown hinder their academic future. We are delighted to announce that senior school offers and scholarships have been coming in thick and fast.

For a year group of 64 pupils, an impressive 24 scholarships have been awarded at the time of writing. This is an incredible triumph and we reiterate our congratulations to all of our talented pupils.

To date, offers have been made by 32 schools, including Alleyn’s, City of London, Dulwich College, Eaton Square Senior School, King’s College Wimbledon, Godolphin & Latymer, Latymer Upper, Putney High and Wycombe Abbey. For those considering boarding at 13+, offers to the next stage and straight offers have been received from Brighton College, Charterhouse, Eton, Harrow, Tonbridge and Wellington.

18 pupils have secured multiple offers – demonstrating the academic vigour of our cohort, the commitment of our teachers and the range of choice that Eaton Square School pupils and their parents can enjoy when selecting a senior school.

Three student secured no less than five offers – an immense achievement.

Headmistress of Eaton Square Prep School, Trish Watt, comments: “This is a terrific set of results from our Year 6 pupils. They have risen both to the challenge of competitive entrance exams and done so in the peak of the coronavirus. I send my sincere congratulations to them all for showing great perseverance, for embracing novel forms of assessment and for inspiring the younger years. Year 6, you thoroughly deserve this happy news and I hope you are celebrating appropriately over the half term break!”

Likewise, Principal of Eaton Square Schools, Sebastian Hepher says, “Once again the boys and girls have surpassed themselves, finding the perfect blend of academic excellence and performance, while also maintaining a calm, measured and steady approach to the process. My congratulations to all!’
