On Sunday 21th April 2019 pupils from both the Prep and Upper School embarked on the annual swim squad tour of Tenerife.
All swimmers took part in the intensive pool & land training sessions during the week, which proved to be incredibly beneficial. Pupils also took full advantage of the outstanding facilities at the Tenerife Top Training Centre. A centre which is also used by great swimmers such as Adam Peaty MBE and Ian Thorpe.
We participated in a gala against Natación RCNT. A fantastic event which gave us some amazing swims from the pupils. A stand out time was from Ben Taylor Year 8, whose time on the 50m Freestyle (29.10) was a personal best by 4.2 seconds!
The pupils were also treated to an afternoon of water slides at the world-renowned Siam Park.
On yet another occasion our pupils’ excellent behaviour and positive attitude impressed locals and holidaymakers.
