As part of our World Book Day celebrations, Elif Shafak, came to speak to the Year 5 and 6 children about her life and her work as an author. She spoke to the children about her inspiration for writing and the children were fascinated to find out about the books that she writes and had lots of questions for her about being an author. It was both a motivating and fascinating talk.
