Few pupils can say they go to school on the same street Winston Churchill lived on.
At Eaton Square School, this history fuels our position as a leading coeducational prep school, a place where tradition meets innovation and the next generation of leading figures will emerge. From Nursery to Year 6, our forward-thinking curated curriculum prepares children for an ever-changing world and ensures they face it with confidence, respect and warmth.
Each morning, our students are greeted at the door with a handshake and a “Good morning”, immediately learning the value of respect and high standards. Pupils are also taught according to our Three Aims:
At Eaton Square Prep School, we want our students to thrive both personally and academically. Believing both is possible is not just hope – our 11+ results consistently prove, year after year, that our admissions approach gets results without costing any of a child’s wellbeing or happiness.
For parents in Pimlico, Belgravia and Victoria, pupils enrolled at Eaton Square get the full use of our state-of-the-art facilities, such as our STEAM Centre ‘The Launch Pad’, as well as our fully stocked Computing Suite and Art and Design Room. These facilities, along with our leafy, village-like location in central London, give our pupils a full and rounded education that prepares them for senior school destinations.

Given how central the school is, we would always encourage walking or cycling where the school runs. For families who do drive, nearby pay-and-display bays and local car parks are the closest options.
As an independent fee-paying school, we are reviewed yearly by the Independent School Inspectorate (ISI), which evaluates our teaching and the quality of life for our pupils. We are proud to announce that our results have been exemplary each year, a testament to the care that goes into each day – from both the teaching staff and our pupils. Here is an extract from our 2024 inspection about our standard of teaching:
“Leaders have devised a stimulating and diverse curriculum, with particular emphasis on making cross-curricular links. The school makes great use of opportunities on its doorstep; for example, when Year 4 study the Tudors, they visit Hampton Court.”
Families do not need to travel far to find an excellent education. This year, our Year 6 pupils secured 81 offers and 12 scholarships, with many progressing to senior schools within easy reach of home, including Westminster School, Francis Holland School and City of London School.
As part of the Dukes Education family, many of our pupils also move seamlessly on to Dukes senior schools nearby, including London Park School, Mayfair and Knightsbridge School, often without needing to sit the 11+ exam.
