Prep School at Eaton Square

Eaton Square is an outstanding prep school in the heart of Belgravia, welcoming pupils from Pre-Nursery through to Year 6. We blend the best of a traditional prep school education – small classes, high expectations, strong pastoral care – with a genuinely forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning.

A Prep School Built for Every Child

Every pupil at Eaton Square is known individually. From their first “Good morning” handshake at the door to the day they leave us for senior school, our pupils are taught the values of respect, resilience and high standards – underpinned by our values framework, POISE: Perseverance, Ownership, Integrity, Service and Empathy.

Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework and the National Curriculum Key Stages 1 and 2 – and we go beyond the minimum standard at every stage. Highlights include:

  • The Launch Pad, our STEAM Centre – believed to be the only facility of its kind in the world, featuring an augmented reality sandpit, a “draw alive” wall, and interactive projector displays.
  • AI integration and technology, including 1:1 devices for Years 4–6 and a bank of iPads across the school.
  • Languages, including French, Spanish and Latin, alongside our Language of the Term programme.
  • Public speaking and life skills, from annual class assemblies to our Debating Club, which competes in national competitions such as The Cicero Cup.

11+ Results

Our Prep School track record speaks for itself. Our Class of 2026 secured 81 offers from 35 senior schools, along with 12 scholarships – 5 in Art, 6 Academic, and one Major Academic award. See our full 11+ Results.

Pastoral Care

Every pupil’s wellbeing is at the heart of a Prep education at Eaton Square. Our pastoral team includes a dedicated EAL Coordinator for pupils whose first language isn’t English, a SENDCo who builds personalised support plans, and a Listening Teacher offering confidential, one-to-one support. PSHE runs throughout our curriculum, and the school actively promotes anti-bullying and anti-racism education at every stage.

Life Beyond the Classroom

Prep life at Eaton Square goes well beyond lessons. Pupils take part in a wide range of clubs – including chess, karate, debating, coding, cooking and gardening – alongside educational trips across London and further afield. Our pupils have even spoken at official TEDx Talks events, a rare opportunity for prep-age children.
