Help Us Get To Know More About Your Son Or Daughter
We’ll ask for a recent school report, an example of recent creative writing and a confidential reference from your current school.  If you have digital data scores, e.g. CAT or ISEB, we’ll review those too.

Come To A Discovery or ‘D’ Day
Discovery – or ‘D’ Days are an opportunity for us to get to know prospective students better and for them to get a sense of us.  A ‘D-Day’ involves team activities, problem-solving and an interview with the Head or senior member of staff; no examination needed.

The Perfect Match?
If we believe that your child will thrive with us, we’ll offer them a place – which we hope you’ll accept.

We’ll then look forward to them joining the LPS family.

Example timeline for Year 7 or Year 9 entry

  • Summer of Year 5 /Year 7 OR Autumn of Year 6/Year 8 – Come and Meet US

Student Visas

The school is able to provide a limited number of Child Student visas (previously known as Tier 4 Visas) for students. If your child requires a visa to study in the UK, please be sure to inform tAdmissions ahead of applying.

Sixth Form

Stepping up to Sixth Form is an opportunity for students to explore new subjects and to focus on subjects about which they are passionate.  In order for a student to access the demands of an A Level course we normally ask for a minimum of Grade 6 at GCSE in English and Maths and the subjects that a student wishes to study for A Level.

If you are interested in applying to us and your grades are lower than expected – or if there are extenuating circumstances that mean that a Grade 6 may be unlikely, it is always worth having a discussion with us first.  Please contact Admissions to arrange a conversation with our Head of Sixth Form, Nathan Mountford.
