Life at Nursery and Prep School is all about discovery.

It is a time when children discover who they are, where their strengths lie and – ultimately – what mark they wish to make in the world.

At Eaton Square Schools, we bring learning to life wherever possible to enhance this journey of discovery. This is achieved in many ways:

School Trips

We run a jam-packed calendar of exciting, educational and engaging trips throughout the year. While our Nursery children experience smaller-scale adventures closer to their familiar setting; our Prep pupils spread their wings further afield.

We make the most of our local London museums, galleries, theatres and concert halls to enhance the learning experience. In addition, each Prep year group participates in at least one trip outside of London annually.

These school trips provide an opportunity for children to form a closer bond with fellow pupils and staff and to gain first-hand experience of learning in fresh and interactive ways.

After School Clubs

At Eaton Square, there is an incredibly wide variety of after school activities. We believe it paramount to give our pupils access to vast range of sporting, academic, creative and performance-based clubs to enrich their learning experience as fully as possible.

After school clubs provide a unique chance for children to work together in a relaxed, non-academic setting, sharing a particular passion and enabling them to build up new, fulfilling friendships with adults and peers alike.

Community Initiatives

A sense of service – to our school, our local area, our family, our friends and the wider environment – is evident in all corners of Eaton Square. Be it our pupil driven Eco Committee, our ongoing fundraising campaigns for the elected School charity or our partnerships with local care homes as part of the nationwide ‘Poetry Together’ campaign, there is an incredible array of opportunities for pupils to support and celebrate the communities around them.

Learning in London

The location of our schools means we are incredibly fortunate that teaching can be complemented by the best the city has to offer.

Our Prep pupils benefit from trips to the British Museum, Science Museum, National Gallery, Kew Gardens, Hampton Court and many other cultural sites of our capital each term.

Our Nursery children thrive during daily trips to St. George’s Square and Battersea Park – ideal places for them to enjoy space, fresh air and even outdoor science experiments.

London’s leafy-green Royal Parks and open spaces form the backdrop for exercise and play.

Outdoor Play

Impressively for a prime central London school, we enjoy enviable access to private outdoor space. In addition to our very own outdoor terrace, located next to the Dining Room and home to our Gardening Club, pupils enjoy spending time in our playground on nearby Sussex Street. This provides safe, supervised time to run around, relax between lessons and enjoy the outdoors with their friends.
