Exciting new Clubs arriving Autumn 2015!

WELLBEING CLUB

Wellbeing club will be an hour long session, once a week, for children to de-stress, motivate and revitalise in a relaxed, fun and supportive environment.  Each week we will look at different practices, including an introduction to yoga, meditation and mindfulness, expressive art forms, an introduction to head and shoulder massage, health and nutrition, and teamwork games. All these practices are proven to help reduce aggressive and anti-social behaviour, sickness and absenteeism, and increase productivity inside and outside the classroom, team work and caring for others. If you think your child could use some time to ‘chill out’ after a hectic day at school, this is the club for them!

HOCKEY CLUB

The PE/Games Department are delighted to announce that this year Hockey will be played in lessons and during Girls Games sessions after the Christmas break.  The extra-curricular club will give students the opportunity to develop their skills from the basics, all the way up to playing competitively.  Children of all abilities are welcome.

All children must have a gum shield, shin pads, long sports socks (Perrys)

Optional: Hockey stick

SHAKESPEARE CLUB

Does your child love acting and want to find out about where it all began?

In Shakespeare club, your child will get a chance to learn about Shakespeare and explore some of greatest plays, through fun drama games and activities.  The end result will be to act out a shortened version of one of Shakespeare’s plays in a performance for a small audience.  A fun literacy club that aims to make Shakespeare accessible and interesting, and to improve confidence in public speaking.
